California Alarm Association Announces Esther Aviles as Executive Director

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — July 2, 2026 — The California Alarm Association (CAA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Esther Aviles as its new Executive Director. Esther will lead the Association’s day-to-day operations while working closely with the Board of Directors to continue advancing the mission of supporting California’s electronic security and life safety industry.

Esther brings more than two decades of experience in marketing, customer service, business operations, event planning, human resources, and nonprofit administration. Throughout her career, she has built a reputation for developing strong relationships, creating memorable member experiences, and helping organizations grow through thoughtful leadership, collaboration, and exceptional service.

As the owner of ERA & Associates Events, LLC, Esther has partnered with organizations to provide administrative support, strategic planning, marketing, and event management. She is widely recognized for her attention to detail, positive attitude, and ability to bring people together to accomplish shared goals.

Esther shared her enthusiasm about joining the Association.

“I am honored to join the California Alarm Association and look forward to getting to know the membership, supporting the Board of Directors, and working alongside everyone to continue building a strong and successful association for years to come,” said Aviles.

A lifelong advocate for building meaningful connections, Esther values both professional and personal relationships. She and her husband, Sam, have been married for 27 years and have three children, ages 21, 14, and 10. They enjoy traveling, spending time at the beach, and making lasting memories together at their home in Redondo Beach.

The California Alarm Association also extends its sincere appreciation to Paige Meek for her dedicated service as Executive Director over the past three years. During her tenure, Paige oversaw several successful conferences and educational events while supporting the continued growth and operations of the Association. The Board of Directors thanks Paige for her commitment to the CAA and wishes her continued success in all of her future endeavors.

As CAA looks toward the future, the Association remains committed to providing industry-leading education, advocacy, networking opportunities, and professional development for California’s electronic security professionals. Under Esther’s leadership, CAA is excited to build upon its strong foundation and continue delivering exceptional value to its members throughout the state.
