Leveraging Technology To Enhance Public Safety During the Pandemic

The coronavirus outbreak has created new challenges for public safety and security professionals, who must now deal with tighter restrictions and confront additional dangers when doing their jobs. Video surveillance cameras, electronic access control systems, automated security devices and other technologies – both in the form of existing applications and new ones recently born of necessity – can serve as force multipliers during this time of social distancing, and can also help agencies and institutions be better prepared for future contingencies. During this webinar, members of the SIA Public Safety Interest Group will examine how public safety and private security professionals are identifying new ways in which they can use technology to secure facilities and keep people safe – and healthy.
